SBA Co-Sponsored Listening and Speaking Skills Event!
Tuesday, February 12, 2008
Join us as WEO and the SBA welcome Gloria Bryen and Lauren Bishop as they present two key topics that could easily affect your bottom line!
"Crucial Listening Skills for Doing Business." Gloria Bryen, MA, knows from her experience in the field of dispute resolution, that people simply cannot move forward until they feel heard. Clients need to feel they are being heard as well as others that support your business goals. Gloria will share some crucial strategies for effective listening, so that your business can move forward.
"Perfecting Your Business Voice." The sound of your voice. Few things can be more of an advantage or detriment to your professional life. Your voice has the power to create or destroy confidence, credibility, trust, respect, relationships and extreme success. It can help, or hinder you in closing sales, winning proposals, receiving raises and promotions, being chosen for leadership positions, or being respected and taken seriously. Lauren Bishop, voice consultant and owner of Your Vocal Advantage will share "sound" principles on how to "Perfect Your Business Voice," so your voice will be your strongest asset, not your biggest liability.
